THE INVESTOR - Build Your Financial Future in Northern California
Make your veterinary career work harder for your future.
You’ve invested years in becoming a veterinarian. Now you’re thinking about how your career can help you build what comes next.
Paying down student debt. Increasing your earning potential. Building financial confidence. Investing for the future.
At Vetco Total Care, select Northern California opportunities can bring those goals together through a customized compensation and rewards package designed to help you make more of the career you’ve worked so hard to build.
Turn student debt into a plan.
Student loans can influence everything from where you live to the career opportunities you consider.
For select full-time Investor opportunities, VTC can offer a monthly student loan repayment stipend tied directly to your eligible veterinary school debt.
Instead of waiting years for a single milestone payment, you can receive ongoing support designed to help you make progress month after month.
Grow your earning potential.
Your compensation shouldn't stop at your base salary.
VTC veterinarians have opportunities to earn through production with no negative accrual and no pro-sal.
For select Investor opportunities, we're exploring an enhanced production incentive that can increase your earning opportunity once established performance thresholds are reached.
The more you and your hospital build, the more opportunity there can be to participate in that success.
Share in your hospital's results.
Strong hospitals are built by strong teams.
In addition to individual earning opportunities, select Investor packages can include an additional incentive tied to hospital performance, creating another way for you to benefit when the hospital succeeds.
It's a compensation approach that recognizes both the medicine you personally practice and the larger business you're helping build.
Build financial knowledge—not just income.
Earning more is only one part of building a stronger financial future.
Investor opportunities can include access to complimentary personal financial education or business-management development, helping you strengthen skills that can serve you well beyond the exam room.
Whether you want to better understand investing, tackle student debt strategically, plan for retirement or learn more about the business side of veterinary medicine, you'll have resources to help you make more informed decisions.
Invest in your future.
Eligible VTC veterinarians can access Petco's Total Rewards offerings, including retirement and investment benefits.
Depending on eligibility, that can include a 401(k) retirement savings plan and opportunities to participate in Petco's Employee Stock Purchase Plan, giving you additional ways to put your compensation to work for your future.
And because your professional growth can influence your earning potential, select Investor opportunities can also include enhanced continuing education support to keep investing in the skills behind your career.
More than a paycheck.
