PACKS Externship
Go Beyond the Textbooks. If you’re a veterinary or veterinary technician student looking for real clinical experience in a supportive, general practice veterinary hospital, a PACKS Externship is one of the best ways to get hands-on. As a PACKS extern, you’ll work side-by-side with experienced veterinarians and hospital teams — applying what you’ve learned in school while building essential medical, surgical, diagnostic, and client-communication skills.
PACKS externships can offer course credit hours or hourly wages.

PACKS Mentorship
Build Your Veterinarian Career On A Solid Foundation. Early-career veterinarians looking to start their career with unparalleled support, guidance and 1:1 coaching are the perfect fit for a PACKS Mentorship.
Why PACKS? Every mentee is paired with an experienced mentor who helps create a customized development plan based on the mentee’s interests, strengths, and long-term goals. With a PACKS mentorship, you can dive deeper into surgery, client communication, preventative medicine, and the everyday realities of clinical practice with a dedicated mentor by your side.
Did you know? PACKS mentors are volunteers and attend a mentor training program before being matched to a mentee.
